Terms of use

As a general rule, third parties may not use the ADP trademarks, including the ADP National Employment Report® trademark ( the "Mark"). On this page are the limited circumstances under which third parties may use the ADP National Employment Report® trademark. The Mark must always be used pursuant to the specifications on this page to identify ADP, Inc. or its related entitles (collectively "ADP"), or ADP products or services. Any use that falls outside of these specifications is strictly prohibited.

Third parties may only use the Mark without a license under the following limited circumstances:

  • The Third Party is a legitimate media outlet (business, trade, or local broadcast or print publication) publishing an article specifically about the ADP National Employment Report, and related ADP products and services.
  • The Mark may only be used in close proximity to, or in obvious connection with, a published article or broadcast news story about the ADP National Employment Report, or a related specific ADP service or offering.

The following guidelines must be followed for all use of the Mark:

  1. The Mark may not be used in any manner that might imply that any non-ADP materials, including but not limited to goods, services, web sites, or publications are sponsored, endorsed, licensed by, or affiliated with ADP.
  2. The Mark may not be imitated or used as a design feature in any manner.
  3. The Mark may not be used in a manner that would disparage ADP or its products or services.
  4. The Mark must be used as approved and provided by ADP with no changes, including but not limited to changes in color, proportion, or design, or removal of any words, artwork, or trademark symbols. The Mark may not be animated, morphed, or otherwise distorted in perspective or appearance. The Mark must only appear in the formats provided on this Web site.
  5. The Mark must stand alone and may not be combined with any other object, including but not limited to marks, logos, words, graphics, photos, slogans, numbers, design features, or symbols. The Mark must never be used to represent the word "ADP" in text, including in a headline, product-name logotype, or body copy.
  6. The attribution clause "ADP National Employment Report® is a registered trademark and service mark of ADP, Inc." must accompany use of this report name.

ADP reserves the right in its sole discretion to terminate or modify permission to display the Mark, and may request that third parties modify or delete any use of the Mark that, in ADP's sole judgment, does not comply with these guidelines, or might otherwise impair or infringe ADP's rights in the Mark. ADP further reserves the right to object to unfair uses or misuses of its trademarks or other violations of applicable law.
