ADP National Employment Report Shows Solid Job Gains Adding 198,000 Jobs in February
Private-sector employment increased by 198,000 from January to February, on a seasonally adjusted basis. (The estimated gain from December to January was revised up by 23,000, to 215,000).
Highlights
- Small businesses (1-49 employees) +77,000
- Medium businesses (50-499 employees) +65,000
- Large businesses (500 or more employees) +57,000
Note: All size data included in the ADP National Employment Report is based on size of business, defined as an entity with a unique Employer Identification Number, which may include multiple establishments.
